PROM 2020 is probably not what most people expected this year. Covid-19 and the state ordered shut downs of schools, business, and residents changed the world overnight. These times are both confusing and challenging as we all try to maneuver through the daily changes being issued. It was such a joy to be asked to do a donation based safe, physically distant Prom shoot for these high school seniors. Mom decided to throw her son(s) a Prom in their backyard (one son is in high school, the other college). She decorated a table, created a fancy menu, ordered balloons, and made the day as special as she could for her son(s) and their girlfriends. How fun it was for me (at a safe physical distance with my long lens 70-200) to be able to creatively capture their Prom portraits and details. I was not there for long, just enough time to capture the attendees and how much love mom put into making the evening as special as she could for her son(s).
