I absolutely look forward to fall session because I get to see all these wonderful families and see how much they have grown the past year. I love the fun we have shooting, the conversations with the parents, and the overall love and joy that comes with each session. This session was extra special because Grandma was in the images instead of moms and dads. It was a special time, albeit not without its funny moments such as big brother hugging little brother a bit to tight, or the baby not wanting to take photos and running away screaming every moment he got, or someone falling off the log, but those moments are so much fun for me as a photographer because one day they will be grown up. So here are a few images from two special families that brought along their matriarch on her birthday for some fun, silly and beautiful memories.
