I am so behind in posting, this sweet session is from January! I have known Amanda since she was a little girl. She is one of my little sister’s long time best friends. Amanda is a beautiful, strong, beautiful and funny girl and I was so happy not only to hear she and Taylor were expecting, but that they wanted me to capture their first pregnancy! What an honor and a joy this was! Amanda and Taylor are so much fun to be around. I captured their wedding too and it is always a fun and funny time with these two! What you don’t see in these photos is Taylor sword fighting with my son while I take Amanda’s photos, lol! Amanda reminds me of her mom quite a bit! Amanda’s mom was my mom’s best friend. She passed away 10 years ago from a long hard and well fought battle against cancer just days after meeting my second born daughter. I wanted to surprise Amanda and incorporate her mom into this shoot. There is one image here I feel captures the essence and joy of her beautiful mother who is missed on a daily basis by those who love her. Her beautiful soul lives on every day in her children and now in her grandchildren.
