So continuing with the last post, after we visited La Soledad, we stopped off at Mission San Miguel (this is on our way from San Francisco coming south).  This mission was amazing!  It was so old and beautiful.  I loved the cracks in the walls, the old benches, the chipping and falling away of wall and the truly rustic vintage feeling to this mission.  It was simply gorgeous! We probably spent most of our time at this mission, it was so incredible. The photo on the bottom left is a very artistic door hinge with hearts and crosses.  The architecture here just amazed me!  I am so glad we did (and amazed because it was just me and 3 little ones!).  If you are wondering what sparked my interest in seeing as many missions as we could, my oldest daughter was doing a mission report for school and happened to do it on San Louis Obispo (which we passed as well!).  So after leaving our mini San Francisco get away, we decided to see as many missions on our way home as we could-which only amounted to 3-but that is pretty good with three little ones in the car (and one is a toddler!) LOL!  Next up, San Louis Obispo!JCBellaRosaSanMiguel_1707JBG
